Our Thoughts On This Project

The newly designed campus is the home for New Giza University Medical and Business school, it features a large structured park at its heart, surrounded by student housing, retail, cafes, and restaurants.

Phase “1” included a total of four (4) buildings, Health Sciences, Economics Business School, Pharmacy and Dentistry School, and a utility building.

AluNile’s scope of work included providing structural glazed curtainwalls, skylights, and louvers. In addition to various operable windows and doors systems.

Curtain Walling

SG50

The SG50 Curtain Walling System is a structurally-glazed solution designed to offer high performance.

DESIGN FEATURES

Uses same grid of mullions and transoms as the SL50.
Curtain walls with structurally bonded opening elements with ""structural"" (all-glass) aesthetics.
Can be used in a full structurally glazed solution or combined with an expressed outer cover in either vertical or horizontal planes.
21 mm visible gap between panels.
Glass installation is achieved by a stainless steel toggle which is fixed on the structure and guarantees mechanical retains.

All surface finishes available.

The 53CO is a non-insulated flush door with inward and outward opening.

DESIGN FEATURES

Tight seal with double rebate gaskets along the perimeter.
Frame and sash : 53 mm.
Traditional shape.
Flus door, both inward and outward opening.
Squared, smoothed or rounded glazing bead.
Glazing thickness : 4 to 30 mm.

OPTIONS

Security glazing beads for greater burglary resistance.
Full range of colors available.
1 and 2 sashes.

APPLICATION TYPE

The Frame and sash are 53 mm deep, This series has been designed to offer top-quality door sets with complete machining and fittings (sill profiles, plugs). The 53CO is compatible with simple or safety “multipoint” door locks to improve burglary resistance.

The FRS solar protection system has been designed to create sunshades manufactured from aluminum profiles.

DESIGN FEATURES

Reduces the heat load on the building by intercepting sun rays before they reach the glazed surfaces.
Solar radiation adsorbed by the shading is dissipated out of the facade.
Efficiency up to 30% vs. other internal system, by effect of natural ventilation.

Fixed horizontal sunshade with adjustable angle support, for blades up to 250mm.

Revolving horizontal sunshade with drive gear, angle 0-90°, suitable for south oriented facade.

The range is composed of five sections of aluminium extruded profiles with dimensions of 150, 200, 250, 310 and 360 mm, and a complete range for the realization of fixed and adjustable
sunshade solutions. Typically used for horizontal and vertical sunshade, both in fixed and motorized option and with the option for integrated photovoltaic panels.
The utilization of this high-tech system applied on curtain walls increases the comfort, allows energy savings in air-conditioning and the production of electric energy.
